Dr. Chanan Lerer

Dr. Chanan Lerer is a board-certified periodontist, Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology. He received his undergraduate degree at Montclair State University in NJ, and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine . Dr. Lerer completed his post-graduate training in periodontics and implantology at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Lerer is a US Navy Veteran. He served as a Periodontist aboard MCAS Cherry Point in NC, providing periodontal services to 5,000 sailors and Marines. He is currently on the advisory board of the New Jersey Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry (NJSPID) and is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and the American Academy of Periodontology.

Dr. Lerer is dedicated to delivering high quality and aesthetically pleasing outcomes. He is adept at utilizing cutting edge technology.

In his free time, Dr. Lerer enjoys playing soccer, mountain biking, motorcycling, and many outdoor activities together with his wife, 2 kids and dog.
